The Bureau of Plant Industry-Guimaras National Crop Research Development and Production Support Center (BPI-Guimaras NCRDPSC) in collaboration with Guimaras State College-Baterna Campus, San Lorenzo, Guimaras conducted a one-day seminar on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) on mango last January 31, 2017.
The seminar aimed to disseminate information and impart knowledge to the participants the Philippine National Standards (PNS) on GAP on mango. It also promoted the adoption of GAP for safe and quality produce and sustainable mango production.
A total of 105 junior high school students specializing in agriculture of Dr. Catalino G. Nava Memorial High School and graduating BS Agriculture students of Guimaras State College-Baterna Campus and farmers of the Municipality of San Lorenzo, Guimaras attended the seminar. (by: RS Orquia)
