Two media groups, one from Taiwan (Sanlih E-Television or SET TV) and GMA 7 TripPinas Program production staff visited BPI-Guimaras National Crop Research, Development and Production Support Center last February 17 and 27, 2017.
Their visit was purposely for the conduct of video shoot and interview of the Center’s programs and projects in support to the mango industry of the province of Guimaras. Technology demonstration on asexual mango production through cleft grafting and Center’s facilities were among the highlights of the video shoot.
The footage taken during the technology demonstration and video shoots of facilities of the Center will form part of the film production that will be producing by the two media groups. The film that will be produced will be aired on SET TV in Taiwan and on GMA News TV with re-airing on GMA International (GMA Pinoy TV). The program of both TV stations aims to promote the tourism industry of the province of Guimaras and the country as well. (by: RS Orquia)
